These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you (“Customer,” “you”) and Red-Snake Technology LLC doing business as AutoCheckView (“AutoCheckView,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). AutoCheckView is a brand under which Red-Snake Technology LLC provides the service; it is not a separate legal entity from Red-Snake Technology LLC.
By placing an order, creating an account, or affirmatively accepting these Terms during checkout, you agree to the version of these Terms presented in connection with your order (version 2026-08-16 unless a later version is shown and accepted). These Terms govern the AutoCheckView service together with the package, add-ons, pricing, and other order details presented and accepted at checkout.
By placing an order you represent that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) you have authority to enter into the transaction; (c) information you submit is materially accurate; and (d) you are authorized to provide any seller, facility, or access information you supply to AutoCheckView.
We observe. We document. You decide. AutoCheckView provides remote vehicle viewing and factual visual documentation. A Field Specialist visits the vehicle location, documents what is visible and accessible when permitted, and delivers a private structured report (and PDF where offered) for the Customer who ordered the visit.
AutoCheckView is documentation. It is not a state inspection, mechanical inspection, mechanical diagnosis, safety inspection, roadworthiness certification, appraisal or valuation, warranty, repair recommendation, guarantee, title verification, ownership verification, insurance inspection, or buy/don’t-buy recommendation. We do not perform repairs, maintenance, disassembly, lifting, jacking, or invasive testing.
AutoCheckView documents observable conditions and displayed information that are accessible and permitted at the time of the visit. The service is a time-specific documentation snapshot, not an exhaustive search for defects. AutoCheckView has no duty to discover latent, hidden, concealed, intermittent, internal, inaccessible, or subsequently developing conditions. A condition not mentioned in a report must not be interpreted as confirmation that the condition does not exist. Conditions may change before or after the visit.
Access depends on seller, dealer, auction, marketplace, owner, custodian, and facility rules and permissions at the time of the visit. AutoCheckView may decline, limit, or stop documentation where permission is refused; property rules prohibit access; the vehicle cannot be accessed; a requested area cannot be reached without disassembly or a lift; activity would require trespass; circumstances present unreasonable operational or safety concerns; or the requested activity would violate law or property rules. AutoCheckView does not promise that every requested observation can be completed.
Ground-level underside documentation, when included or attempted, is from safe ground-level positions only. No lift, jacking, or disassembly is included, and no structural or mechanical conclusion is made.
Your requested time is a preference. We confirm the appointment after verifying seller/facility access and Field Specialist availability. Rescheduling may be required due to weather, access, seller availability, Field Specialist coverage, or similar operational factors. Service is offered within approximately 290 miles one-way of our Raleigh, NC service base, subject to access and scheduling.
Packages, add-ons, prices, and billing scope (per vehicle or per visit) are those shown in the live catalog at checkout. Focus Areas identify areas for additional attention. They do not reduce ordinary package coverage. Included Focus Areas per vehicle under current catalog definitions: Quick View 1; Complete View 2; Full View 2. Additional Focus Areas may be available as a paid add-on when offered.
Photo and video documentation record the vehicle, vehicle-related areas, and service-related information when accessible and permitted. Live Video, when purchased, is up to 10 minutes with an optional additional 10 minutes where offered, and depends on access, permission, and connectivity. Live Video is not guaranteed to show inaccessible areas.
AutoCheckView documentation is intended to record the vehicle and service-related information, not unrelated individuals or private conversations. You must not direct AutoCheckView personnel to secretly record private conversations or individuals in violation of applicable law. Field personnel should avoid recording unrelated people and private conversations where reasonably practical.
Road Test Documentation occurs only when it was purchased; vehicle access is available; the custodian/seller permits it; the site permits it; the Field Specialist is willing and legally able to perform it; and conditions reasonably allow it. AutoCheckView may decline, shorten, alter, or stop a road test because of traffic, weather, access restrictions, vehicle behavior, authorization, location rules, or safety concerns. No minimum route, speed, distance, duration, or driving condition is guaranteed. Road Test Documentation records factual video and/or observations from the drive and does not evaluate or certify braking, steering, engine, transmission, handling, performance, roadworthiness, or safety. Purchasing the add-on does not guarantee that a road test will occur.
When purchased and permitted, OBD-II Code Readout records codes displayed by a compatible OBD-II reader at the time of the visit. It does not determine root cause, diagnose a condition, clear codes, recommend repairs, guarantee that all faults are represented, or guarantee that no fault exists when no code is displayed. If the reader displays generic text, it may be documented as a reader-provided description and is not an AutoCheckView diagnosis.
Listing Match Documentation, when purchased, compares specific seller or listing statements with information that can be directly observed, displayed, or documented during the visit. It does not certify that the listing is truthful in every respect, that the seller is honest, that all options are genuine, that title is valid, that mileage history is valid, or that hidden damage does not exist.
AutoCheckView does not independently guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, completeness, or current validity of statements, photographs, advertisements, descriptions, records, or representations provided by a seller, dealer, auction, marketplace, owner, or other third party. Unless expressly included as an active purchased service, AutoCheckView does not verify title, ownership, liens, accident history, flood history, salvage history, recalls, provenance, or similar third-party history data. Third-party vehicle history reports are not currently offered. Do not expect a VIN history PDF with your visit.
Payment for an order is processed at checkout through our payment provider (currently Stripe). Under the current implementation, successful checkout charges the payment method at the time of payment completion (it is not a temporary authorization held for later capture). Package, add-on, travel, and other fees shown and accepted at checkout form part of your order. Travel is billed one-way from Raleigh, NC using the published mileage tiers within the service radius; return travel is not billed separately. AutoCheckView does not store full payment card numbers; card data is handled by the payment provider. Charges may appear as RED-SNAKE TECHNOLOGY on your statement.
Cancellation. Eligible online cancellation is available for a limited window after payment (currently 24 hours after payment under the online cancel rules), while the visit has not started and other order locks do not apply. Eligible cancellation converts paid value to Available AutoCheckView Credits under current rules — this is not a card refund, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Rescheduling / amendment. Order amendments (including package or add-on changes where the product allows) are subject to edit windows, visit start, and report issuance locks in the live order workflow. Downgrades may move eligible surplus paid value into AutoCheckView Credits. Upgrades may apply Available Credits first, then charge any balance due. Once a visit has started or a report has been issued, online changes are generally blocked.
Unavailable documentation. If a purchased add-on cannot be completed because permission, access, facility rules, or similar restrictions prevent it after the main visit has occurred, AutoCheckView will refund the separately paid amount for that unperformed add-on to the original payment method (or issue an equivalent remedy where a card refund is not possible). The package fee for a completed visit remains payable. Limitations are still recorded in the report as Not Permitted or Not Accessible.
Access declined or vehicle unavailable before dispatch. If the vehicle is sold, access is refused, or the visit cannot proceed for reasons outside AutoCheckView’s control before a Field Specialist is dispatched, you may choose a card refund of eligible paid amounts or a transfer of the order to another vehicle, subject to current pricing and travel for the new location. After dispatch has begun, AutoCheckView may retain only the actual travel/dispatch fee incurred and refund or credit the remainder as applicable.
Broader cancellations and amendments remain governed by the rules above. Contact info@autocheckview.com for order support.
AutoCheckView Credits represent previously paid service value handled under applicable order, cancellation, and change rules. Portal labels may show Available Credits and Reserved Credits. Credits are not a bank account, investment, interest-bearing account, or loyalty reward. Credits may be used only as permitted by AutoCheckView’s current service rules. Each available credit lot may have its own expiration date. Under current configuration, newly created available credit lots from eligible cancellations or amendments generally expire after 3 calendar months. Credits are not redeemable for cash except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Documentation may be incomplete when areas are locked, blocked, occupied, unsafe to approach, or not permitted. Limitations are recorded in the report. Omission of an item is not proof that a condition does not exist.
The report documents the stated visit, including limitations and media available based on access. A correction does not create a new vehicle visit. Newer report versions supersede earlier versions to the extent corrected.
You remain responsible for purchase, sale, bid, travel, mechanical evaluation, title and history research, financing, insurance, registration, and further professional evaluation. AutoCheckView documentation can be one information source. Customers may choose to obtain a separate mechanical inspection, title/history review, appraisal, or other professional service where appropriate.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, the service is provided based on information, access, conditions, and permissions available at the time of the visit. AutoCheckView does not warrant that every defect, issue, discrepancy, warning, history event, or future condition will be discovered or documented. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or obligations that applicable law does not permit to be waived.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AUTOCHECKVIEW WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS IN VEHICLE VALUE, REPAIR COSTS, TRAVEL COSTS, SELLER DEPOSITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, OR LOSSES ARISING FROM A CUSTOMER’S PURCHASE, SALE, BID, OR TRAVEL DECISION.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AUTOCHECKVIEW’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PARTICULAR ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO AUTOCHECKVIEW FOR THAT ORDER.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Reasonable sharing of your purchased report and media with family, a mechanic, attorney, lender, insurer, seller, or other advisers involved in your transaction is permitted for that transaction and your records.
AutoCheckView retains ownership of the website, software, templates, branding, and report layout/system. You retain a reasonable right to download, use, and share your purchased report and media for your vehicle transaction and personal records.
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version accepted with your order applies to that order. Account registration acceptance alone does not bind you to later Terms for a future order; order-level acceptance uses the version presented at checkout.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law, except where mandatory consumer protections of another jurisdiction apply.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the order details accepted at checkout and policies expressly referenced (including the Privacy Policy and Documentation Disclaimer), form the entire agreement for the service for that order and supersede prior conflicting statements about that order, except that they do not override non-waivable rights under applicable law.
